Wait And Scene is here to present you a new track by Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky featuring (almost) everyone that’s a big deal in the rap game right now! Last month WAS talked A$AP’s feature on that icy Big Bio and Phantogram track here. Based on his past releases and this tracked that leaked today, I have a feeling that Long. Live. A$AP is going to destroy the world…I know the Mayans predicted December 21st but I’m thinking this album release on January 15th will be the nail in the apocalyptic coffin. Okay, so I’m being dramatic but don’t say I didn’t warn you; this song is so hot! Hit-Boy delivered a classic old-school beat and Kendrick Lamar, Big K.R.I.T, Yelawolf, Danny Brown, Joey Bada$$, and Action Bronson had nothing to do one day (famous rappers never have plans) so they each laid down the grimiest lyrics over said beat…then smoked all the cheeba, drank all the booze, ate all the pizza, and chilled happily ever after. The End.

I’m just guessing, I wasn’t there! I’ve been at a few Yela concerts in the past and a plethora of other rap shows so I feel like I have background to make these assumptions.

Favorite verse? Tough call but for me it’s probably Big K.R.I.T; I love that southern rapper steez.

How could you ever doubt me? Most rappers hoping the world ends so they won’t have to drop another album.

Totally.

Check out the six plus minutes of heat below.

Ultraista is the electronic pop project of long-term Radiohead collaborator and producer Nigel Godrich, vocalist Laura Bettinson, and producer/drummer Joey Waronker of Beck, Elliott Smith, and R.E.M. fame. This trio is known for beautiful, lofty vocals and a unique production style that’s heavy on the synth with a precise, ever-changing rhythm that only Godrich can pull off. London electronic duo Maribou State took on Gold Dayzz and added their dark house beats to the already amazing original. It’s perfect! This remix makes me want to choreograph a modern dance number about a town that is on fire that can only be extinguished with dance; imagine all the inner turmoil I could portray through movement, not to mention the costumes! Oh, the costumes!  I’ll invite you all to opening night…

The whole town is burnin’… burnin’… burnin’
